Driven by a desire for a more just world, I love telling stories that celebrate the diversity of the human experience and amplify underrepresented voices from a place of curiosity and joy.
As an actor working in theatre, film, TV, commercials, print, voiceover, and audiobook narration as well as a writer, I enjoy inspiring change, fostering a deeper understanding of the world, and providing much-needed levity.
I bring a mix of intelligence, quirky playfulness, and quiet strength to my characters who tend to be soft-spoken with a bubbly resilience and a spark of sass.
Working with award-winning directors and producers (who tell socially impactful stories), I’ve starred in several films that were featured in festivals such as the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, Asian American International Film Festival, and Indie Short Fest.
I’ve also gotten to work in Off-Broadway and New York plays, including at The Duke on 42nd Street, Hudson Guild Theater, and the Players Theatre.
In voiceover and audiobooks, I’ve had the opportunity to narrate YA novels and children’s books and lent my voice to podcasts and film projects.
My writing work includes screenplays that share underrepresented identities and stories, explore characters who are figuring themselves out and discovering new situations that help them grow, and blend drama with light-heartedness and humor. My coming-of-age feature screenplay “Amoeba” was selected by the Burbank International Film Festival and is currently a Semifinalist for the 1497 Features Lab. I’ve also written the children’s picture book, titled “Bailey, the Rabbit.”
Harnessing my passion for social justice, I’ve collaborated with environmental and social impact nonprofits and founded an animal advocacy organization. Additionally, I’ve led workshops and presentations at high schools and universities on LGBTQIA+ visibility and inclusion, educating faculty on creating more inclusive environments. I was also a panelist at the NASTAD Gender and Race Alliance Summit in Washington, DC, discussing health equity for queer communities of color. Furthermore, I’ve conducted workshops on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
I hold a BA degree in Theatre from Southern Connecticut State University and studied acting at the Circle in the Square Theatre, improv at the Magnet Theater, and voiceover at Edge Studio with director and producer Jay Snyder (NYC) and ad agency producer Jennifer Sims (LA). I’m trained in Stanislavski, Meisner, and Chekhov.
Fun facts: My favorite food is dark chocolate. I’m an animal lover and vegetarian. During my spare time, I enjoy reading, dancing, traveling, singing karaoke, and volunteering. I’m currently taking belly dance lessons. I also absolutely love to travel and have visited Toronto, London, Chicago, Orlando, and Sweden. So my passport is always ready to go wherever projects beckon!
